Addyi (flibanserin) contraindications

Tell your doctor or get medical help right away if you have any of the following signs or symptoms that may be related to a very bad side effect: Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. Taking this drug at any other time of day may raise the chance of low blood pressure, passing out, accidental injury, and feeling sleepy. Addyi may cause allergic reactions, which can be serious. Stop taking Addyi and get help right away if you have any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction. The risk of very low blood pressure and passing out is raised if you drink alcohol close to when you take this drug. The risk is also raised if you take certain other drugs or have liver problems. Do not drive or do other activities that require alertness or coordination for at least six hours after taking Addyi and until you know how Addyi affects you. If you feel faint or dizzy, lie down. The risk of low blood pressure or fainting can be increased if you drink alcohol or take certain medicines with Addyi. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you have any of the following symptoms of low blood pressure. People who are allergic to any of the following should not take Addyi.
